Daniel Earl Heckman, 69, of Amity died Friday, June 26, 2020.

He was born December 8, 1950 in Washington a son of the late Earl Heckman and Eileen Scott Heckman.

Dan attended Trinity Schools and went on to work for Millcraft Industries in Washington for many years before retiring in 2018.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard for six years, from 1970 to 1976 and was also a Lifetime member of the Amwell Township Volunteer Fire Department in Amity.

He was an avid camper, fisherman and hunter who enjoyed the outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking and doing projects around the house.

On October 3, 1970, he married the former Loretta Keffer, who survives. The two shared in over 49 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife and mother, Dan is survived by two children; Scott Heckman and Kelly (Frank) Heckman McAdams, both of Amity. He is also survived by three brothers; Larry (Jane) Heckman, Gary (Robynne) Heckman and Randy (Donna) Heckman, a sister; Kathy (Dwain) Church as well as a grandson; Nickolas McAdams and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Heckman.

Arrangements are private and entrusted to Daniel A. Davenport Funeral & Cremation Services, Daniel A. Davenport - Owner/Supervisor, 420 Locust Avenue Washington, PA. Interment will be in the Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Cemetery, Amity.
